Custom Conservation Framing

We suggest using 99% Ultraviolet Protective glazing; either glass or plexiglass depending on size or if it will be shipped for exhibition. We use Tru Vue Conservation Clear UV Glass or Tru Vue Museum UV Glass, both are 99% protective with the museum glass having no reflection. Studio M uses two products, Marvaseal and Corraplast behind the mount board to prevent moisture in the package. There is a wide up to date selection of frames for paintings, including a selection of closed corner period frames. You will get help on what type of frame to use and how large a mat and the type of mat. Sometimes picking a frame can be a bit overwhelming, so we will help you narrow the selection down, by color, size and price. Framing specialties include; custom french matting, needlepoint, pastels, photography, float hinging, and custom painted glass matting.
